Japanese Fashion

I just read a post at tokyofashion.com that shows Japanese male models wearing the latest clothes in Men’s Knuckle magazine. The Japanese people have adopted so much of Western style clothing, yet they’ve made it distinctively Japanese, and they wear their clothes in a distinct Japanese manner.

Nearly every Western city has pockets of other cultures – China Towns would be the best known. If you’re in a multi-cultural area, it would pay to keep up-to-date on fashion trends in your public’s homeland. But the other thing that came to mind was how many Western kids play computer games where the characters wear these Japanese-influenced styles. Shop displays of clothes in these styles would probably catch their attention far more than the blander local clothes !

( a bit more about this in shop mannequins )
