Tablets and other forms of online access to products is making a big difference to how they are marketed. But I’ve read from several sources, that though people are doing their research online, they still like to go into a shop to shop !
There’s still a lot of scope for in-store displays as a point-of-sale aide ( and of course in marketing videos presented on the net ).
