A lot of marketers and merchandisers spend time working on brand awareness, which seems to be mainly about getting a name and/or symbol out there and recognized.
Unless you are a HUGE company though, brand awareness isn’t going to get you the most results for your money at all. If you just do a Google search, you’ll see that the number of people looking for brands is really low, compared to how many people are looking for solutions to problems.
So concentrate on promoting solutions that people are actively looking for in your displays, and you’ll get far more attention.
